500,000 Saudi riyal fine on privacy violation, Saudi Arab launched kolonna amn app


JEDDAH: A smartphone app to help protect individual privacy has been launched by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior the use of mobile phones to spread damaging footage or images.


The Kolonna Amn (We are all security) app allows users to make an official complaint if they believe their privacy has been violated.

In side the kingdom people can complain if they beileve their privacy has been violated.
Saudi Arab Launching the app on March 13, that offenders could face penalties of up to one year’s imprisonment or a fine of 500,000/SR ($133,000).

This app defines the violation of the mobile phones with a camera or any other devices.
