MINISTRY OF FEDERAL EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN - VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
CHAIRPERSON HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION Applications are invited from persons of international eminence and proven ability to lead Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The position carries the rank of a Federal Minister and the appointment will be for a period of 4 years. The candidate should have made significant contributions in higher education as a teacher, researcher or administrator with at least 20 years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. from a recognized leading institution.
Applications should include a letter of intent, resume, photo, proof(s) of excellence, accomplishments, achievements and awards, and should be sent to the Chairman. Search Committee for Chairperson HEC, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Room No, 111, Block C, Pak Secretariat. Islamabad before 25 March 2018.
Members of civil society, professionals, and scholars are also encouraged to nominate accomplished candidates, after the nominee's concurrence has been sought.
